CAV Academy Success

14th May 2024

Learning at Work Week is a great opportunity to highlight how we support lifelong learning through our a very own CAV Academy. As a specialist aviation ice protection system manufacturer we have developed a number of programmes in house, likewise we also value personal development, and encourage team members to develop new skills.

Claire Williams, Group HSE Coordinator said; “CAV has generously supported and funded me through my MSc course, which has allowed me to grow my skill set. CAV’s dedication to furthering employees professional and personal development is a testament to their values as a company.”

Over the past few months, we have been delighted to see team members complete a whole host of courses including an Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management MSc and CIPS Procurement & Supply qualifications. We currently have six employees studying higher educational courses, this will benefit both the company and further their personal development. Additionally, CAV Academy covers all apprentices that we currently have employed, and like other employees being supported, they are given funding and study days to assist them through their courses.

Ian Jackson, General Manager said; “Our approach means we have a rolling programme of success and it is great to see so many employees continuing to develop their skills. Congratulations to everyone who has graduated in the past few months, and we look forward to many more.”
