Production Operators

We’re looking for three Production Operators to join our award winning engineering and manufacturing aviation business.
Based at our main facility in County Durham, two roles are based in our Hardware Cell, and we have a further vacancy in our Laser Cell.
In each instance, successful candidates will work as part of a team to manufacture and assemble ice protection systems using specialised machinery and tools.
As a Production Operator you will:
- Follow engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances to ensure quality standards are achieved
- Operate a range of hand tools, machinery and testing equipment in line with our Standard Operating Procedures
- Adhere to strict Health and Safety practices.
An understanding of electrical assembly would be beneficial for the positions in Hardware.
To be succeed in one of these roles you will:
- Always work safely, complying with safety requirements
- Carry out the role effectively and efficiently
- Have previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Have meticulous attention to detail and work in line with quality standards
- Generate ideas which promote process improvement
- Have good communication skills
- Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and reliable.
