CAV Systems has appointed Thomas Barnaby as a marketing assistant & customer interface officer.
Based at our UK facility, Thomas originally joined the company in 2021 as a business admin apprentice, before becoming a full-time employee last year (2023) after successfully passing his apprenticeship.
A dual role, Thomas will divide his time between marketing and customer services, enabling him to continue to develop his skill set in both areas. This will include handling customer queries, event planning and supporting the development of digital marketing campaigns.
Thomas said: “I have always been interested in sales and marketing, so to have the opportunity to develop a range of complementary skills is really exciting. I am very much looking forward to seeing where this new direction takes me.”
Victoria Thompson, marketing manager at CAV Systems said: “I am delighted to welcome Thomas to the marketing team. His existing skill set combined with his knowledge of the business and desire to learn, makes him a great addition to the team.
“He has already come up with some fantastic suggestions for various trade shows including our exhibition space at AERO Friedrichshafen and Farnborough International Airshow, and it will be wonderful to see his ideas take flight in the coming weeks.”
